Three Meetings of The Extraordinary Committee premiered at France’s Clermont-Ferrand film festival in July 2021. The film has won awards and nominations at festivals worldwide, including a Sky Arts TAASH Award for Comedy in Film, and Best Film at Italy’s Corto E Fieno, whose jury praised 'the caustic irony with which the meetings of a small extraordinary committee become a metaphor of the great changes in contemporary societies, transforming the voices outside the chorus into gears of the system'. It was nominated for a 2022 BAFTA award.

Jones have described Three Meetings as a turning point in their work, combining their comic sensibility with a more rigorous, studied aesthetic and explicit political agenda.
